How to Import a New Language in PMB 7.4.9

I am using PMB version 7.4.9 and would like to add a new language to the system. However, I couldn’t find clear documentation on how to import or integrate additional language files.

Could someone guide me on the correct procedure for importing a new language? Specifically, I need to know:

  1. Where to find or download language files for PMB.
  2. The correct folder to place the language files in.
  3. Any configurations needed in the PMB settings to activate the new language.

Any help or documentation links would be greatly appreciated!

    Hello,

    I am not aware of any such documentation.

    There are however many languages available via the user preferences of the admin panel.

    You may need to define a new thesaurus or a translation of the thesaurus for the new language.

    To add a new language on the opac side, you can make a translation into this new language for each module of the portal, and then apply a condition for their display, such as a language URL parameter like lang=en_UK (English) or lang=ja_JP (Japanese)

    There may be new PMB features for new versions of PMB that I am not aware of.
